The first of Metro Pacific Hospital Holdings Inc. (MPHHI)’s cancer center network project is set to open its doors in Lipa City, Batangas next week.
The Lipa Medix Cancer Center, inaugurated recently, is an 870-square meter cancer facility that will feature an Accuray Tomotherapy H Unit. The project is a joint venture of MPHHI and Lipa Medics, Inc.
Joining the roster are centers in Bacolod and Tarlac targeted to start operations next year.
The Riveside Control-C in Bacolod, Negros Occidental is a joint project between MPHHI and Riveside Medical Center, Inc. The 1,080-square meter facility will house an Elekta Synergy with VMAT linear acceleratory and a brachytherapy.
Metro CLDH Cancer Center is a joint venture between MPHHI and Central Luzon Doctors’ Hospital. The 1,000-sqm facility will also operate an Elekta Synergy with VMAT linear accelerator.
These three are the first in the proposed 10 cancer center networks of MPHHI in the next five years.
